Capturing ‘life in the moment’ is what inspires me. In my photography you will see landscapes, travel, architecture, people and their furry friends and all the little details that make up each unique life. I shoot with a Canon 5D Mk IV and my go to lens is 24-70mm f/2.8L. 

 

I have been drawn to the creative world most of my life having studied interior design before embracing art and through art finding my passion for photography.  I studied under Brisbane photographer and teacher Anne Russell, an accredited judge for the Photographic Society of Queensland.  

 

My photography is influenced by natural light, colour and textures. My eye is drawn to the beauty and colours of Australian and New Zealand country life and coastlines, urbanscapes, layered interiors, nature, pets and people. My photography style continues to evolve and I am currently developing my style in minimalist and contemporary imagery and documentary storytelling. 

 

I have had success as a finalist in a number of competitions and was recently awarded a Top 40 from Australasia's Top Emerging Photographer 2022 in the single image category for my image 'Silhouette Theatre'.  The previous year I received a Top 40 award from more than 3k entries in the Australian Photography Magazine's 'Photographer of the Year' for my landscape series 'Fire and Rain'.
